Kryolan Calendar 2017

The new Kryolan calendar 2017 is here. It is called Quotes and its make-up looks are inspired by the words of great artists. Art and beauty are determined in the eye of the beholder, and alike are temporary and eventually fade away. Make-up is arguably the most short-lived of art forms, sometimes only existing for a matter of hours. Does that make it more beautiful, more precious? Each of these pieces have been inspired by the words of great artists and all contain a temporary element or capture an exact moment in time that could never be exactly replicated again. The importance of art and its creators is to tell a story, provoke, inspire, instigate, resonate. There is no form of art without soul and each soul will have its own feeling towards each piece. The beauty of a reaction or emotion is honesty in its purest form. This collection explores that moment, in its purest form. This collection explores that moment.
